Youth Bible Fellowship
YBF Picture “Youth Bible Fellowship”

YBF, fellowship for youth 6th through 12th grade, has regular meetings on Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at “The HUB" (110 E. Chestnut St.). Students may be picked up at 7:00 p.m.

The group focus is upon living, laughing, learning and being a disciple of Jesus Christ. We enjoy a variety of great activities and events! The group has a great time as they seek to discover the relevance of the Bible to their everyday lives. This is a great opportunity to get in on something good!

For more information, contact Pastor Stephen at 217-737-5071, or by e-mail.

Adult sponsors are Pastor Stephen King, Amy Decanter, Louise Corzine, & Janet King.

SAFE SANCTUARY:
Our Church practices a Safe Sanctuary policy in order to assurea that everyone who comes under our ministry adn care is protected from harm. This includes our committment to have two or more adults present at all all events and to follow a "Two person" rule when ever working with or transporting youth.

KEEPING SAFE: Internet Chats
This video is about a young girl who is chatting to a man she does not know. the man asks her to meet him and she does. She really likes the man and thinks he makes her feel special! But is that really the truth? You should never chat or meet up with people online if you do not know them And you should always tell an adult or someone you trust if somthing is wrong! Remember..YOU are in control and you dont have to do anything you dont want to do! Click to watch.

Every day, the voices around us tell us to ignore warnings and to take the next step in revealing our deepest self. The hope is that by "revealing" ourselves to someone they will love us more. The desire for intimacy and the lure of sexuality as a milestone of maturity and as a way of being accepted is not worth the risk. Protect yourself and your image. Remain pure, save yourself for your spouse, recognize that your worth comes from your creator who will give you a future and a hope if you will follow in the way of purity. Ever wonder what might happen to that sexy picture of you?
